Mac Taylor has been in the construction business for over 30 years, serving Grey County, as well
as parts of Bruce and Simcoe Counties. Over the years Mac has seen many changes in the
construction industry, and anticipates many changes to come.
Septic installation accounts for a large percentage of the business. Mac keeps himself up to date
with the latest technology and alternative systems available, as he considers the safety of ground
water to be a major concern. Mac thrives on the challenge of determining which type of system
is most appropriate and cost effective for the area it is to be installed in. “For every lot, there is a
solution”.
Mac Taylor’s gravel pit is located on concession three of the Township of Chatsworth (formerly Holland
Township) in Grey
County . Mac keeps a variety of aggregate material at his pit including crushed gravel, clear
stone, washed sand, topsoil etc. The gravel pit has an excellent supply of most of the aggregate
material needed for the septic jobs.
The heavy equipment that is used to complete jobs is all well maintained and up to date. The
operators are very experienced and take pride in a job well done. The equipment fleet currently
includes backhoe, bulldozer, wheel loader, tandem and triaxle dump trucks, and a mini
excavator.
